Who we are
Lawn Service Tuscaloosa is an independent informational website about lawn care in Tuscaloosa and West Alabama. We are not a lawn care company and we do not provide services.
What we collect

Contact emails. If you email us, we have your email address and whatever you wrote. We keep it as long as it is useful and we do not add you to any list.
Server logs. Our host records standard web server access logs, which include IP addresses and requested pages.
Analytics. We may use analytics software to understand which articles are read. Where used, it collects the usual aggregate traffic data.
Cookies
If you leave a comment, WordPress may set cookies to save your name, email and website so you do not have to retype them. These are optional and expire after about a year.
If you log in — which applies to site administrators, not readers — WordPress sets session and preference cookies.
Embedded content
Articles on this site may embed content from other websites. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that other site, and those sites may collect data, use cookies, and track your interaction with the embedded content.

We do not sell your data. We do not trade it. Comment information may be passed to an automated spam detection service.
How long we keep things
Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so that follow-up comments can be recognized and approved automatically. Contact emails are kept as long as they are relevant.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to erase it. Erasure does not extend to data we are required to keep for legal, security or administrative reasons. Use the contact page.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted here.
