Northport is served by most of the same companies that work Tuscaloosa, but not all of them — and a few operators are actually headquartered on the Northport side of the river despite what their names suggest.
We are not a lawn care company. This is an independent guide. Nobody paid to be listed.

Who does not serve Northport
Worth knowing so you do not waste a call. These companies name Tuscaloosa on their sites but never mention Northport: Globetti’s Lawn Care (Fosters and Tuscaloosa), Crawford Lawn Solutions (Tuscaloosa only), Jordan Outdoors, TIL Landscape, Weed Man (serviced from Hoover), TruGreen, and Unlimited Lawn Care (nearest office Pelham).
That is not a judgment on any of them. It only means their published service area does not include Northport, and you should ask before assuming.
What it costs
Local pricing data is collected at the Tuscaloosa metro level rather than by municipality, so there is no separate Northport figure. Everything in the Tuscaloosa cost guide applies here.
One thing that does differ: trash and debris disposal. The City of Tuscaloosa’s rules on contractor-generated waste, which shape cleanup pricing there, are Tuscaloosa’s rules. We were not able to verify Northport’s requirements or its business license rules — the city’s site would not respond to us. If disposal matters to your quote, check with the City of Northport directly rather than assuming Tuscaloosa’s rules carry across the river.
Checking a license
Same as anywhere in Alabama. If a company applies pesticides, fertilizer, or weed control for money, they need an OTPS permit from the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries, and the business needs a horticulture professional services license.
You can verify both yourself through ADAI’s public applicator search — search by name, filter to Tuscaloosa County, and confirm the permit type and expiration. Full explanation on the Tuscaloosa page.
Send us photos of your work
If you run a lawn care or landscaping company here, we would rather show your finished lawns than stock photography. Send photos through the contact page and we will publish them credited to your company, with a link to your site.
Free, and it buys nothing — not placement, not a friendlier write-up, not removal of a competitor. Those rules are in our editorial standards and they do not bend for photo contributors either. Daylight shots of the whole lawn work best, and please confirm the homeowner is comfortable with the photo being published. We will not publish an address.
