Companies: send us photos of your work

If you run a lawn care or landscaping company serving Tuscaloosa County, we would rather show your finished lawns than stock photography. Send them here and we will publish them credited to your company, with a link to your site.

Free, and it buys nothing — not placement in the directory, not a friendlier write-up, not the removal of a competitor. Those rules do not bend for photo contributors.

Confirm the property owner is comfortable with the photo being published
Tell us roughly where it was taken — we will not publish an address or anything identifying about the homeowner
Include your company name exactly as you want it credited

Corrections and listings

If something on this site is wrong about your business — a phone number, a service area, a description — tell us and we will fix it without argument. If you want your listing removed, we will remove it, no questions asked.

If you run a lawn care company serving Tuscaloosa or Northport and you are not listed, tell us. Listing is free and always will be. The only requirement is a working website that names your service area.

Advertising

See the advertising page for what is available. Tell us what you do, where you serve, and what you are trying to accomplish, and we will tell you honestly whether this site can help. If the traffic is not there yet for what you need, we will say so.

What we cannot help with

We are not a lawn care company. We do not mow, spray, install sod, or take service bookings. Emails asking for a quote will not get one — but the Tuscaloosa and Northport directories list companies that do this work.

We cannot diagnose your lawn by email. Turf problems need eyes on the site, soil, drainage and history. For that, the Tuscaloosa County Extension Office at 1800 McFarland Blvd E #342, (205) 349-4630, is a free public service staffed by people who do this for a living.

We cannot recommend a specific contractor. We take no referral fees from service companies and have no basis for vouching for anyone’s work. What we can do is show you how to check a license before you hire.
